City of Ember, People of Sparks, and The Diamond of Darkhold

I read this awhile ago but City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau was a really good book that ended with you wanting the next book :D
(the descri- from http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/d/jeanne-duprau/city-of-ember.htm)

The city of Ember was built deep underground as a last refuge for the human race. Two hundred years later, the great lamps that light the city are beginning to flicker. When Lina finds part of an ancient message, she's sure it holds a secret that will save the city. She and her friend Doon must decipher the message before the lights go out on Ember forever! This stunning debut novel offers refreshingly clear writing and fascinating, original characters.

People of Sparks is book 2 I enjoyed this aswell (descrip below (http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/d/jeanne-duprau/people-of-sparks.htm)

This sequel to THE CITY OF EMBER follows the further adventures of Lina Mayfleet and DoonHarrow as they and other residents of Ember take up residence in the town of Sparks.

"The Diamond of Darkhold is the 4th book in the City of Ember series"

It's been several months since Lina and Doon escaped the dying city of Ember and, along with the rest of their people, joined the town of Sparks. Now, struggling through the harsh winter aboveground, they find an unusual book. Torn up and missing most of its pages, it alludes to a mysterious device from before the Disaster, which they believe is still in Ember. Together, Lina and Doon must go back underground to retrieve what was lost and bring light to a dark world.

In the fourth Book of Ember, bestselling author Jeanne DuPrau juxtaposes yet another action-packed adventure with powerful themes about hope, learning, and the search for truth.
I didn't read all of Prophet of Yonwood the 3rd book I didn't care for too me I was bored I didn't get very far..... but I recomend this series too :D

Stay With Me

Stay With Me by Garret Freymann- Weyr was a good book some "stuff" in it more less talks about but doesn't describe anything but this person did this. The ending kind of was a clif-hanger left you with "and then what" but again it was a good book about (HERE'S THE DES- from http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/f/garret-freymann-weyr/stay-with-me.htm)

* 'Small moments will stay with readers. . . . The vivid characters in Leila's extended family are all realistically flawed but tender with each other, as they learn that while they are '-never to be the same . . . it's enough that we're each still here.'' - Publishers Weekly, starred review 'The outstanding strength of this book is Leila's narration. Leila is a character readers will care about and want to know. It is a perfect book to hand fans of Sarah Dessen or Laurie Halse Anderson.' - VOYA When her half sister commits suicide, sixteen-year-old Leila Abranel has only one question: why? That question sets Leila on a journey toward discovery, uncertainty, and love. Rich with an intricate and mesmerizing family history, Stay with Me is a story of an unforgettable girl coming of age in the midst of grief, mystery, and, ultimately, awakening.

Delcroix Academy: The Canadates (AKA The Talents)

I liked this book. Itr was really good. RECOMENDED I'll make a list for that as well as a updated list of TO BE READ. I can't wait til the next one comes out :D

Dancia Lewis is far from popular. And that's not just because of her average grades or her less-than-glamorous wardrobe. In fact, Dancia's mediocrity is a welcome cover for her secret: whenever she sees a person threatening someone she cares about, things just...happen. Cars skid. Structures collapse. Usually someone gets hurt. So Dancia does everything possible to avoid getting close to anyone, belieiving this way she can supress her powers and keep them hidden.

But when recruiters from the prestigious Delcroix Academy show up in her living room to offer her a full scholarship, Dancia's days of living under the radar may be over. Only, Delcroix is a school for diplomats' kids and child geniuses--not B students with uncontrollable telekinetic tendencies. So why are they treating Dancia like she's special? Even the hottest guy on campus seems to be going out of his way to make Dancia feel welcome.

And then there's her mysterious new friend Jack, who can't stay out of trouble. He suspects something dangerous is going on at the Academy and wants Dancia to help him figure out what. But Dancia isn't convinced. She hopes that maybe the recruiters know more about her "gift" than they're letting on. Maybe they can help her understand how to use it...But not even Dancia could have imagined what awaits her behind the gates of Delcroix Academy

Everlasting,

The Back Door of Midnight

The Back Door of Midnight (by Elizabeth Chandler) another great book I borrowed. The 3rd Dark Secrets book about Anna O'neil who goes to her Uncles house for the summer

HERE'S THE REVEIW I FOUND ON THIS SITE http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/c/elizabeth-chandler/back-door-of-midnight.htm (GREAT SITE)

Psychic...or psychotic?

Anna knows her family is crazy. But when she goes to visit her aunt and uncle for the summer and learns that her uncle's charred body has been found, her life reaches a new level of insanity. Her erratic aunt's 'psychic' abilities are exaggerated by her grief, and have become borderline violent. Alone in an unfamiliar town, Anna struggles to pick up the pieces and establish any sense of normalcy. She desperately wants to trust Zack, the cute boy next door, but even he might know more about the incident than he is letting on.

But when Anna starts feeling an inexplicable pull to the site of her uncle's murder, she begins to believe that her family's supernatural gifts are real after all. Torn between loyalty and suspicion, Anna is certain of only one thing: she must discover who killed her uncle or she could be next?.

(NOW I'M TYPING) Romance, mystery, I sum it up as a really good book which I highly suggest you read(if you like romance and even if you don't :D)
